Do you like your health care? Do you enjoy your doctor visits? If your answer is yes…god bless you…problem is…the answer is no for far too many…this is the one topic that I don’t like discussion on.
For the life of me I can't understand someone saying that health care needs to be something that needs to be paid for…you can take in stray cats…you can volunteer time at the local rec center…you can accept that education on a basic level can, is and should be free…but getting a physical should cost 400 dollars if you don’t have insurance?
I went to the doctor the other day…it took a half hour…25 mins waiting to see him…and five mins with him…in that five mins I told him what hurt…he felt around…then told me to go get some pills to make it not hurt anymore…that cost me 400 dollars…the pills…another hundred…so 500 dollars for a simple solution…and now at a time where so many have lost their jobs…and therefore lost their health insurance…its amazing that there are still some people…scratch that…most people…still think this system is great…
”Leave my health care alone”…god I love this country…full of people who say no to abortion just to watch you grow and die broke and alone over something completely preventable…and to those complaining about raised taxes over the matter?....
If you send your kid to a private school you can't say
“look I'm not using the public school system for my kids…so don’t take those taxes out of my check”…same thing with the fire dept…just because you have a fire extinguisher doesn’t mean you cant pay your takes for the fire station…and just because you own a gun does not mean you can withhold taxes that pay a police mans salary…I guess what I'm saying is….PAY UP YOU SELFISH FUCK…
This same bullshit line of thinking is the same moral compass that allows people to walk by a homeless man with a dog lying next to him and say “God I feel sorry for that dog”…fuck you…and fuck your argument…
”Oh, the dog doesn’t have a choice…the bum does”
I’ve always wondered how arrogance can come with such ignorance…did you know that that bum went to Stanford?....did you know he graduated with a 3.8 gpa?...did you know he was married at 25 and had 2 kids and that same dog by 30 in a house…did you also know he even served in the navy….now did you know that by the time he turned 35 his wife left him…took the kids and maxed out his cards…AND…got him for 1000 dollars a month alimony…he claimed bankruptcy, had to leave his home because she got it in the divorce, his parent are dead and all he has is that fucking dog you feel so sorry for….
his name was James…
I met him in the subway at 2 in the morning….
What's this have to do with health care?......i met someone else…who's wife died of cancer…and because he lost his job they had no insurance she died painfully in their bed….hes homeless too now…except he doesn't have a dog for you to feel sorry for while you walk by.
